Barriers to market access and a lack of financing remain issues that small businesses in the Free State continue to battle. However there are some glimmers of hope, telling us more is Dr Mbulelo Nokwequ, the head of the Free State Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA). He was at the SMME indaba which took place in Bloemfontein.
