Blount County has many free events in the spring for you to laugh and learn a little history. These are put on by the Smoky Mountain storytellers. There are several members of this group who provide entertainment.. whether it be fact or fiction when it comes to East Tennessee. Some are comical, and some are ghostly.

The group is made up of folks who love telling stories about our rich heritage. Janice Brooks-Headrick shared some stories with ET Now's host Michele Silva and the listeners,. She also shared some history on how the group got started and events families can attend in the County this season.
