In this episode I talk about God's judgement and mercy as illustrated in the book of Hosea, especially chapter 11. Despite the judgement that God pronounced over the house of Israel, He still speaks hope and restoration over the house of Israel. The theme of juxtaposition of mercy and judgement is repeated in several books of the Bible including Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

This points us to the cross. Salvation is by grace through faith and not by works.
