In Joshua 24:14-15, the servant of the Lord is giving his final instructions to the children of Israel and he charges them with the choice to either serve other gods which they served beyond the Jordan, or to serve the true God.

You and I needs to make a decision this year to serve the Lord in spirit and truth. Whatever prevented you from serving God faithfully last year, put it aside this year and serve the Lord. Paul states that nothing should be able to separate us from the love of God. I say that this year, nothing should make you not serve the Lord. Whatever sin you have been battling, give it to Christ this year and be free to serve God.

May God bless you abundantly and may He give you the courage to make a decision for Him. You will notice the difference.
