This week our discussion takes us into the cold blooded realm. Our guests this week are Ryan and Ben of R&B Reptiles.  They have a cool YouTube channel where they teach the proper care and maintenance of various snake types. We discuss the ins and outs of owning a massive snake or 200, the “interesting” people they get requests from, and brushes with fame they’ve had. 

 

Dana tells us a couple of stories where the reptile was the hero. What’s that you say Hissy?  Billy is down a well? Nydia goes dark with stories about real life people who have been swallowed whole by snakes. 

 

Dana brings the theme together with a Greek yogurt shrimp avocado salad. She claims reptiles eat like this but Nydia’s never seen a reptile eat Greek yogurt, shrimp, or avocado before. Nydia makes chocolate “turtle” bars because she thought it was cute to not follow the theme rules. We shared a bottle of Myx Sinner red wine which was terrible and we switched over to Chateau St. Michelle a very nice riesling that sells for under $20.
