Postpartum depression, in particular, is an underreported, underdiagnosed, and unfortunately accepted part of motherhood in South Asian communities. During the most momentous transformation in a person's life, healthcare systems need to be designed to support mothers fully and, hopefully, the conversation on this week's episode will help in the process of opening up and normalizing seeking help through new motherhood.
