For their most recent collaboration, Louisiana sneaker boutique Sneaker Politics partnered with Adidas on a reissue of the Forum 84, a classic basketball silhouette brought back from the archive. The shoe was designed around the theme of “community” and the release exhibited that message as 500 free pairs of the shoes were raffled off to patrons of local businesses. In this episode, we discuss the origins of this collaboration, the rollout leading up to the launch, and our personal experience lining up for the release.
