The Northwest Passage is one of the most treacherous routes in the Arctic sea and one that baffled explorers for almost 500 years. In the 19th century, Sir John Franklin set sail to finally find the fabled passageway and came to mysteriously deadly end. Just what happened on Franklin's doomed voyage?    

Where Curiosity Killed the Cat differs from the saturated genre of true crime is that it focuses more on mystery than investigation procedural. A lot of the cases covered do not have solid conclusions and its the fascination with the inexplicable that drives this series.
