Greg and I were able to have a few beers and a really fantastic conversation! Recorded now for your audio pleash. We shared music from iamjakehill and the album A Short Story About a War from Shad, over a Colonial South West Sour, Draught Kolsch and Pale Ale, all having similar flavour notes of: absolutely nerding out about specialty coffee and tea; personal histories and futures with beer; sports and surfing; and synths! Greg recommended being mindful of yourself and your own emotions and the song Kiss Me by Morgan Evans, I recommended July Talk's third studio album, Pray for It (amazing), the song Must be Fine by Miel and there was some mention of the song Anaphylaxis by PUP. Greg also talked about the youtube channel redmeansrecording which I am now definitely recommending.
We also did a bit of a round-up of specialty coffee in Brisbane! Talking about Light Coffee, Bunker, John Mills Himself, Felix for Goodness, Tandem, Blackout and Small Batch Beans. If any of those brands would like to sponser the pod (and provide coffee for the show!) I am more than happy to field enquires -- please direct to the instagram linked below.
Hope you enjoy! :)
so good pod is ostensibly just an excuse to sit down and talk with a friend for a while and become a bit closer. It's a part of @so_good_dog (https://www.instagram.com/so_good_dog/). We share a coffee together, or tea, or beer, or even listening to an album or song, and use that as a jumping off point to talk for a while. Because I love friends, and they're all incredible amazing people, and there's always so much I don't know about people, or I feel just dedicating time to talking with someone is a really positive way to become closer to them - and a really wonderful way to spend time. H opefully you enjoy the conversation, and feel free to use it as an excuse to start a conversation with a friend in your own life! Stay well :)
