So I See: God Help Us. A Perspective by Shri Shashi Kant Varma

To live within the four walls,
Of our cosy home,
Outside injured warriors,
Are firing,
Their unmistakable shots,
Without any aim or purpose.
Who is the target,
Is not material for them.
The arrows can pierce,
Any heart,
Sweet, sublime or ferocious.
Inside our house,
We gather to forget,
The world outside,
And laugh away,
All the perils of the outside world,
Our world is confined,
To kith and kins,
Whom nature ordained,
To live together,
And fill our world,
With laughters,
Which can neutralise,
All the deadly arrows,
Shot outside our cosy nest.
The day starts with tea,
Followed by breakfast,
Lunch and afternoon tea,
And then concluded by a hefty dinner.
Our day is finished,
Followed by such other days,
Little realising,
We are exhausting unmindfully,
The limited days,
Assigned to us.
By the Almighty.
God bestow upon us time
To make efforts,
To unravel the mystery,
Which surrounds us.
Please help us.
You alone can do!!
