Have you noticed how often circumcision is reference in the Bible? A lot, right? But why does the Bible make such a big deal out of it? What does it mean for Christians? On the commemoration of the Circumcision of our Lord Jesus (1 January), we explore a biblical understanding of Old Covenant circumcision and what it means for New Covenant believers in Christ: Jesus has submitted himself to God's Law, to fulfill God's law on our behalf, to deliver us from the condemnation of the Law.
