So why is it that there is the big problem with so many people who proclaim their desire to know Christ as Savior and yet they falter greatly when it come to their spiritual growth- What do you think is necessary in order for one to develop spiritual growth- Do you think that it is something that just happens- Do you think you come to the alter to pray, then when you get up you are all of the sudden spiritually mature- Do you know there are many who think that being spiritually mature means accepting Christ and then living like I always have- Do you think this is the way it is- Do you know that many think that there should be nothing that they should have to give up as part of becoming spiritual mature- Well we do have to take serious our relationship with our Lord. We are called to be obedient to His commands to us. I hope you are able to see today though the word of God and this message that Obedience unto our Lord means that we must put Him first, before everything else in our lives. I hope that you are able and willing to let the scriptures speak to you that you might see how Christ taught the twelve about being dependent upon Him and not earthly possessions. If you have an open mind to the things of God you should see that it is those things which we allow to come in between us and our Lord that prevent us from properly developing in spiritual mature Christians.
