So why is the DATE of Easter so confusing every year?

Why is Easter on a different date each year. back in the first couple of centuries this was building up to be an issue that was causing frustration. It should be an easy one, Jewish tradition has the Passover happen just before Christs death on the cross. so by this it should tie in with this and be the same date every year. In the Bible the Passover is part of the backdrop of the Crucifixion of Jesus, so why is it different every year and seemingly nothing to do with the Passover?

The Passover is at least 15% of the time at least a month apart.

But shouldn't it be close? Both Easter in the Christian Tradition and Passover in the Jewish Tradition are both connected to the lunar phase. The Jewish calendar states that the Passover is on the 15 Nisan or the 15th day in the month of the Jewish month of Nisan. So again this should be the same time every year.
