In this episode, I will introduce you to my new podcast so you know who I am, what you can expect to hear, why you should listen to me and more. I will equip you to deal with workplace challenges and show you how to survive.  I will help you reflect on your complaints and determine what you may need to change.  Here are some tips to help you as you return:   1) focus on what you are able to control; 2) set boundaries and 3) determine if this is the place for you long-term.  

Have you noticed that since you have not been working, in spite of COVID-19, you don't have the same stress headaches and migraines you had at work.  How has your peace of mind been?  If you have been working from home during COVID-19 or did not work at all, I understand that you do not want to return to the workplace.  I know individuals who would rather take unemployment (which would be significantly less than what they currently earn) than return to work.  Wow! 

Keep in mind that employers must prepare the workplace for your return and should accommodate you if you need to continue caring for your children who are out of school until the Fall.  You may not be comfortable returning and want to feel safe.  Returning to the workplace will not be easy however hopefully this time away has given you time to think long and hard about the changes you need to make.  

Know your rights and don't settle.
