<p>This past weekend, we entered the next phase of our lives: one of our grandsons asked his girlfriend to marry him. We have 21 year old grandsons in Duluth, GA. One (Bren) wrote a post for me a couple of months ago before heading to law school this fall, and his twin brother (Jace) will graduate from Georgia Tech in less than a year, and it was Jace who asked Hannah to be his wife.</p>

I am so proud of every one of my kids and grand-kids, but I have regrets. One of those regrets is that I have not been able to pour my life experience into them the way I would have liked to. What if I could spend just five minutes with each of them, every day? What would we talk about? What experiences would I share with them? What “wisdom” could I pass on to them? How would I tell them that I see the world?

With this blog, I hope to be able to do that.
