Y'all. I really wasn't ready for these final chapters. At all.
You're going to hear me break down and start crying, which is apparently going to be a running theme on Spoil Me! episodes, between how I reacted to this and to Fire & Hemlock. I really tried to get through reading some pertinent paragraphs without breaking down, but I couldn't manage it. Forgive the sniffling that persists afterward.
Really though, this book got hella deep hella fast, and there is really something to be said for a "YA" book that can manage the kind of nuance on display here. I was deeply moved in a way that I thought about a lot afterwards, and that's always a rewarding experience.
Thanks so much to Tristen and Devin for commissioning this book, and I hope that I can get started on the next one soon!
