Soaring grocery prices spark an increase in thefts from stores. Some stores saw a 30% theft increase,  egg prices hit a new high of 10 dollars a carton.

 Inflation is not coming down fast enough as the world staves.  Food pantries have no food to give so people are shoplifting more.
