Devon Green, Director of Education at NewPort Academy-CA, CT, 877-628-3367, [email protected], newport-academy.com, explained how Sober High Schools (Also referred to as Recovery High Schools) as developed by Newport Academy are a step down from more intensive residential therapeutic interventions. They are organized as a school, but also including therapy, life skills, nutrition and a number of other elements to help all aspects of a child's life.
