In 2019, Morgan founded Predicta Football, the 1st science-based talent identification tool for predictive recruitment in football. He helps clubs more accurately determine which young players to invest in before others. At the individual player level, he estimates young players' potential to become professionals in the future using scientific assessments of their mental, psychological, and cognitive resources. We chat with High-Performance Sports Psychologist Tom Bates. With over 15 years of experience, Tom has worked with several English Premier League clubs and has extended his expertise to other professional sports, including GB Basketball, Swimming, Boxing, Rugby, Golf, and Fencing. During the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, Tom worked with select Team GB athletes to maximize performance under pressure, applying Peak Performance principles grounded in the science of psychology. I first worked with Theo in 2011 when he attended our inaugural International Player ID Camp with Wolves FC. He later played for 1v1 Soccer in the SAAC league and Toronto FC Academy before moving to England and signing with Wolves in 2018.
