Social Buddy Bot is an application that helps remote coworkers to socialise.
It’s integrated in the mainly used communication platforms (Slack, Discord, Teams).
It uses AI to generate motivational phrases to engage with coworkers to do activities together, like:
Coffee break
Taking a walk
Social lunch
Multiplayer Games
The activity of users is then analysed and, based on interactions, the system interacts with them:
Lowest interacting people: the system asks if everything is ok, trying to make them interact with others
Highest interacting people: they are encouraged to take and propose activities themselves.
The aim of this bot is to make people more used to remote work interaction and, given the appropriate amount of time, make people interact by themselves without the need of a bot.
