[Social Change Part 3] Adulting is Hard But Beautiful
Being an adult looking back at childhood is kind of like being an astronaut in space looking back at the earth.
As astronaut Rusty Schweickart puts it, "From the moon, the Earth is so small and so fragile... you can block it with your thumb. Then you realize that on that spot, the little blue and white thing, is everything that means anything to you - all of history and music and poetry and art and death and birth and love... all of it right there on that little spot that you can cover with your thumb. And you realize from that perspective that you've changed forever, that there is something new there, that the relationship is no longer what it was."
Seeing Mother Earth from the perspective of outer space has changed human history. We're different daughters now.
Turns out the mother/daughter relationship has something to teach us about the future of money and what is changing.
