I have been on the receiving end of various forms of abuse: growing up in a domestic violent house, raped at 17, intimate partner violence, and even spiritual abuse.
The overarching narrative is that government needs to do something to stop the abuse when the reality is that a breakdown of families is perpetuating brokenness. I would like to explore how we can address the men who abuse and stop making it a women’s responsibility to leave a bad relationship when everything in society is creating an unhealthy relationship narrative.
