Social Enterprise Can Change Lives

Listen Later

After losing his eye sight, chef Jonathan Walker found it difficult to find employers who would take on someone who had lost their sight, in a kitchen environment.
Undeterred by this, he re-learned to love being a chef, used technology and new skills to be creative with cooking and decided to set up a new business that would train visually impaired people to work in kitchens and provide them with accredited qualifications.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Jonathan to learn more about the social enterprise and how you can help it grow to do something empowering and ground breaking.
