The Social Gospel is NOT The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately too many people are using their great platform as preachers, influencers, disciples, friends, family to talk more about what is going on in society instead of talking about Jesus Christ.  Faith in Jesus Christ should be greater than our fears in society.  When we create dissent and foster anger towards our government, mandates, laws and society in general - we are taking our focus on off the Kingdom of God.  As believers, we know better.

Allen and I discuss the current trend in social media and society of preaching and teaching the fix that society will never have on this world.  God IS IN control.  We are reminded through scripture that Jesus Christ preached of the dangers of this world.  Our strength and peace comes from Him - The Comforter.

Yes, these things are concerning - with topics like abortion, Afghanistan, the presidency, masking and vaccinations - it is easy to take our eyes off of God.   As believers, citizens of Heaven, children of God and disciples - we should be pointing others to Christ - not waving the shiny objects of the world in front of them.  Enough is enough.  Put your eyes on Christ and point people to the Kingdom!

Don't ever be ashamed to ask about things you don't understand.  Go to God in prayer, ask for answers to be revealed to you, stay in God's will and read your bible.

We aren't perfect and we don't profess to be, far from it actually - keep that in mind as you listen to our stories.  If you are spending more time picking apart our messages, your spending too much time on the wrong things.  Put your focus back on God.

Read Your Bible.  Pray.  Surround Yourself with Like-Minded Christians.  Gather with Two or More in His Name.

Know your sources, research your topics, cross reference verses and never grieve the Holy Spirit.
