I Don’t Compete. I Connect. And Sometimes That Hurts.

I don’t compare myself to anyone.I don’t compete.

I uplift.I promote.I support.

Sometimes I support even when I cannot support myself.

Do not say, “Have you read my story?”Do not say, “You are not the only one going through it.”Do not twist my honesty into a competition of pain.

This is not about you.

This is my moment.

If I call you regularly, that is intentional.If I comment, that is care.If I show up on your platform, that is love with no invoice attached.

I also know the truth I have to accept.

You cannot expect anything from anyone.

Support is not owed.Validation is not guaranteed.People are busy. People are distracted. People are inconsistent.

I know.

But I am human.

And right now my feelings are hurt.

My show will be this Sunday like it always is, and I will show up bright and energized and ready to pour into people. That is what I do. That is what I am built to do.

But today, Wednesday at 4:54 p.m., I am not polished.

I am disappointed.

So I am going back to my dark, cozy retreat, which is depression, and I am going to try to wake up tomorrow in a better headspace.

And if nobody reads this, it is fine.

I will still show up.

Because I always do.
