Audio Olney's latest episode is out now (technically a continuation of Ep. 3 - Social Justice Warriors) where we profile two Olney residents - Ellen Somekawa and Reverend Roger Zepernick - who've been pioneers in the community-based schools movement in Philadelphia. Ellen co-founded the Folk Arts Cultural Treasures Charter School while at Asian Americans United; Rev. Roger was on the Board of Esperanza Academy Charter High School at its inception and continues to be involved with them as well as ASPIRA's schools including Olney High School.
