Doug: Okay. Welcome back, listeners. I am more excited today, I think more than I've been in a long time. We've got a really, super-cool guest, someone who has executed well in social media. I've got Chocolate Johnny. Now, he is a third-generation chocolatier, and a businessman hailing from Sydney, and he was a very early adopter in the online world. He is constantly keeping up with the latest trends and developments in social media, and knows how to convert social media into business success and sales.
During the past eight years, he's used social media to take the Chocolate Johnny brand global. His boutique shop in Sydney is now a big, international social media dominator. Johnny's a big fan of live video, where he can be found talking about chocolate on social media, and you have to tune in and follow him on Periscope, Facebook Live, and Snapchat.
Using social media as a networking tool has been very powerful. Johnny loves to do interviews with his followers and then profiles them on his social media channels. He's realized that he's making a huge impact on the lives of his followers and businesses when one influencer told him that their followers had advised her to go see him and eat his chocolate when they came to Australia.
Chocolate Johnny started out on Facebook and in Instagram, but his real success came with Snapchat and Periscope. He now has thousands of followers and interacts from 5,000 ...
