“What better unifier of humanity is there than food?”

For the new year January edition of the Farm Talks podcast, Emily Zahurones spoke with Rick McNary, a retired pastor and founder of Shop Kansas Farms, who asked listeners how people connect with one another. The idea created the groundwork for the popularized Facebook group turned LLC, Shop Kansas Farms, designed to unite producers and consumers for food consumption and security. 

Farm Talks podcast episodes will be dropped monthly on the first Friday of the month, each covering a unique segment of agriculture in the four states. Farm Talk invites producers to listen in on stories that reach the heart of the matter in the heartland.
