Did Jesus preach about social justice? Or did he merely preach about charity and mercy, which are different from social justice? More and more Christians consider social justice an important component of God’s mission. Social activism is not merely ethical, it is a spiritual way we relate to God and serve God’s mission. Obeying God’s will in doing charity and justice for the lost, the left out, the poor, and the oppressed is proof that you actually know, love and follow Jesus.
