Should you Sod, Seeds, or Hydroseeding? Or is it best to skip the whole hydroponic thing and just go with seed sowing? This question is one that many gardeners have pondered for years. There are many advantages to seeds versus sod (seed sowing), but at the same time, there are some very obvious disadvantages to the two options. Hydroseeding is not a new process. However, in the last few years, hydroseeding has gained interest by local gardeners and farmer’s markets according to the local searches of hydroseeding near me so far on Google.

Do you think seed seeding is the only option for growing vegetables? While there are thousands of variations in the seed seeding method, there are only two methods that are widely used – hydroseeding and sod seeding. Hydroseeding is a method where seeds are placed in a special trench and water is applied until the seeds germinate. The growing process takes place underground, so crops can be planted in any season. Sod seeding is where a raised bed is dug and filled with soil using a sod roller. This method is also commonly used, but it requires additional work.
