There are times when we think we will never be able to rebound from our pain and trauma, but the marvellous thing is, we always do. The human spirit is a brilliant bounce-back artist, even when we believe it’s not possible. Yes, it is possible to extinguish our flame through our circumstances. Life is always a choice, and just as we would tend to a precious flower in our garden, we must tend to the survivor/thriver spark within ourselves. We are here to live, and each of us is a survivor. We can rebound, and we can flourish, life will always meet us halfway if we’re willing to take the first step. Remember, you’re a survivor never forget that!
