Sofar DFW Podcast

On this episode, we'll introduce you to a musician who's a master of blending soul, poetry, and music.

Her name is Madison Daggett. Her folky, melancholic music draws from her deep introspection... there are a special innocence and purity about her sets that are truly mesmerizing to watch, I mean...to listen to.

Stay tuned after the interview to listen to 'River', an original track from Madison.

On this episode, Ana Xavier sat down with Chase Weinacht and Josh Halpern, the core of Marmalakes.

These lifelong friends love to create beautiful, melodic, rock and roll songs and if you have never heard their music live... don't worry, we have a live performance of the Marmalakes' 'New Sweden', recorded right here, in Dallas!

Hi, welcome to the Sofar DFW Podcast.

Every other week we release a new interview and a live performance from a Sofar artist right here, in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

On this episode Ana Xavier talks to brothers Joe and Dave Dunwell, two very talented lads that yes, you got it right...are the core of British pop/rock band The Dunwells.

During the chat, we didn't shy away from talking about an unexpected horse encounter in Austin, the Dunwell's first record and how fate works in very, very mysterious ways...

On this episode, Ana Xavier catches up with performer singer-songwriter Nick Flora. Nick's passion for stories, comedy and audience interaction is obvious from the first minute he steps in on stage.

We looked back at his early music years, gyms metaphors... and why lobster and skittles go together.

You really need to stay tuned for that...

On this episode Ana Xavier sat down with David Kapsner, Michael Jekot, Tyler Rush and Tim Durand, the four members of rock and roll band The Mammoths. Honoring the pretty wild side of rock and roll, the Austin band has lived some wild adventures...and has had pretty epic encounters.

Stay tuned after the interview for an exclusive track by the Mammoths, recorded live at GoodWork Dallas.

Thanks to Sofar's audio engineer Jay Simon, for acing the live recording of 'All I need', by the Mammoths.
