Unfortunately, domestic violence is a lived experience for some women and children within our communities. Luckily, we have safe resources, like the Sofia House, a second-stage shelter for women and children who are fleeing domestic violence.  

Bennett, Danica and I had an opportunity to spend some time with the Sofia House children’s group. It truly was another experience of kids just being kids regardless of their life circumstances. Join us and learn about Sofia House and the meaningful volunteer opportunities available.
