Author Sofie Laguna has been thrilling readers of all ages since she put a law degree on hold and said no to another six year old’s fairy party. From the picture book 'My Yellow Blanky' and children’s book 'Bill’s Best Day' in 2002 to award winning novels for adults … 'One Foot Wrong' (2008), 'The Eye of the Sheep' (2014), 'The Choke' (2017) and 2020’s 'Infinite Splendours'.

Sofie studied law at the University of New South Wales, before moving to Melbourne to train as an actor. She worked for a number of years as an actor at the same time as completing a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing at the RMIT. Sofie is now an author writing for both adults and children.
