Here in Ecclesiastes 11:1- 4, we are called and encouraged to continue investing even though we investment comes with risk. The preacher points us to the fact that the illusion of control is cruel on the front and the back end - on the front end it blinds us to the real risk that we face, and on the back end it  forces us to choose between fear futility or fight. But God’s way is the way of relationship and love.
