Island Kizhi is a French kid exiled in Amsterdam, as the title of his track on our SOMEWHERE compilation might suggest a ‘Lone Boy’. Not socially, but in the way in which Island Kizhi creates his own dreamy world around him which he fills with exotic beat driven melodies, while layers of electronic texture drape over organic sounds and hypnotic voices.
