As Christians, we are sojourners in this world - temporary residents whose true home is heaven. Just as God provided for Jacob's family during their time in Egypt, He provides for us today when we trust Him rather than relying on earthly security. Our role as sojourners isn't passive waiting; we're called to be ambassadors for Christ, serving others and sharing the gospel. True peace comes not from perfect circumstances but from our relationship with Jesus, who died and rose again to reconcile us to God. This identity should lead us to live intentionally, seeking God's kingdom first in every area of life.
