Today I will dive into intergenerational trauma, a family-related issue that causes different generations of family conflict due to different perceptions toward a specific issue, ranging from marriage, life choices, or even some personal aspects. It could break the family’s strong dynamic or make the bond even stronger. However, there are some distinguished amounts of losing self-identity or self-hatred if the intergenerational trauma is too much.
