Solar Flare, CME, and Comet October 9, 2024
Oct 9, 2024 - The sun emitting a strong X-Class flare as seen in various wavelengths of energy. This large eruption resulted in a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) seen at the end of this video. This CME is aimed directly at Earth and the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a G4 Geomagnetic Storm Watch for October 10 & 11.
