Lester del Rey (1915 – 1993) was a prominent figure of the Golden Age of science fiction, known for his close ties to John W. Campbell Jr. and Astounding Science Fiction magazine. He also established Del Rey Books, a beloved publishing label that he co-edited with his wife, Judy-Lynn.
