  • He Can and He Will Pt.1
Where the mind goes, the man follows.
Our response to adversity may become someone else's example of faith.
Our faith walk should leave footprints behind for the next generation to follow.
        1.    Build a Personal History With God
Your past victories become reminders of God's faithfulness for the battles you're facing today.
    Romans 8:31
"If God is for us, who can be against us?"
When you know who stands with you, it changes how you respond to what stands against you!
    2. Answer the Giant
If you want to win battles, you have to know how to answer giants!
Your Words Are Shaping the Next Generation's Faith
    3. Be Armed With Praise
Complaining and Grumbling is the language of unbelief.
Don't let the problem become the loudest thing coming out of your mouth.  Let your praise be louder!
    4. Leave Footprints of Faith for others to follow
    Deuteronomy 11:18-21
“So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors.
Your testimony reminds you of where you've been, what God has brought you through, and just how faithful He has been!

  • The Road Less Traveled Pt.4
Every life is headed toward an eternal destination.
The question is: what’s your final destination?
    Ready for His Return
    Matthew 7:21-23
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
The reality most people won’t admit is that we are not on the path God would have us, but on the path we think will benefit us the most. All while hoping God will accept us and be pleased with us.
3 mindsets / boundaries I keep before me everyday
    1. He’s coming back!!
He’s not coming back for a fragmented, broken, bitter, compromised church. He’s coming for a glorious bride, a people joined together in the unity of Christ. As an expression of his sacrificial love and grace in the earth.
    2. Be ready
*It’s easy to mistake pressure or discomfort for an excuse to change or abandon your place of grace and zeal. As long as I am letting Jesus lead, He reminds me of all the moments in scripture when men and women
    3. Be about the right business
See when a person fully grasps the reality of salvation, you can no longer be silent, you can no longer keep it to yourself, you can no longer be idle but you become motivated to see others come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ!
To be ready is to be an active participant in the will of God being accomplished in the earth.

  • The Road Less Traveled Pt.3
The primary command on your life is to LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD  Sin separates every person from God.
    Romans 5:6-11
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.  And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Loving God will take you to a different place than fearing hell.
Jesus paid the penalty we could never pay
    Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Salvation is received by grace through faith.
The cross is God’s invitation to reconciliation. The cross is the great bridge between man and God. You can’t get to God without the cross and you can’t live victoriously without the cross. It all goes through the cross.

  • The Road Less Traveled Pt.2
Every life is headed toward an eternal destination.
The question is: what’s your final destination?
    Time to re-route!
Am I truly on the path or right road that is the will of God for my life.
    1. Wrong road - (path of least resistance)
    Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
That is what sin loves to do, it gets you to think that it will lead you to a destination worth holding out for.
    2. Right road - (the less traveled)
    John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus always shows up to re route our lives. No matter where your path has lead you and no matter how right you thought you were, Jesus is the only way!
Paul thought he was on the right path, Gods path, but he was off by 180 degrees
    3. Stick to the path - (It leads to life)
Jesus isn’t a destination, He is the director!!
    4. Enjoy the journey  (few find it)
Life with Jesus is a journey not a destination
    Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

  • The Road Less Traveled Pt.1
Heaven was made for all of us, but not everyone get to experience heaven because not everyone will choose the road that leads there.
    Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
This life is not the end of our story—it is preparation for what comes next.
        1.    We were made for Eternity
This life is temporary, but we have an eternal destination.
    2. We have hope of heaven
The hope of heaven should causes us to approach life differently.
When you live with the hope of heaven, you understand that circumstances are temporary.
    3. We have been shown the way to Heaven
There’s only one way to heaven-His name is Jesus.
Our Association Does Not Determine Destination
    Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
Our citizenship is in heaven-Jesus is the passport
        4.    We must choose the road that we travel

  • It's Not Mine Pt.4
    Stewardship:
the job of supervising or taking care of something, such as an organization or property
        •    In man’s hands, money is about power and control. In God’s hands, money is a tool.
    Luke 16:11
Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
In Aramaic, mammon means wealth or property. In Greek, it refers to riches personified as a master. Money wants to control your decisions, feed your fears, and dictate your choices.
If I can’t honor God with my money, He’s not my real God, money is my God!
    The Big Shift:
We often view stewardship as taking care of what’s mine so I have what I need when I need it.
Biblical stewardship is managing what is His so we have what is needed when HE asks for it.
Paul knew that what He possessed couldn’t hinder what God possessed. His obedience to what God needed from Him was far greater than his concern for what was lacking.
Stewardship empowers me to be who God desires me to be. Because when I steward my time, my talents and my treasures, it empowers me to be able to serve God, serve people and build His kingdom.
Generosity shouldn’t just be about money; it encompasses sharing our time, resources, and even our hearts. In practicing generosity, we reflect God’s love and kindness in tangible ways. We become vessels of His grace and mercy. Together, let us cultivate a generous spirit, realizing that our giving is not just an obligation but a joyful act of worship that draws us closer to God.

  • It's Not Mine Pt.3
A biblical understanding of stewardship begins with one truth… Whatever God has placed in my life belongs to Him; I have been entrusted with it for His purpose.
    The Stewardship Principle…
    1. God is the Owner… we are the stewards.
Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof.”
“What do I want to do with what I have?” to “Lord, what do You want done with what You have entrusted to me?”
    2. Every believer has received something to steward.
“As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10
    3. Our abilities are entrusted according to God's purpose.
Romans 12:6 “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us…”…
    Stewardship Requires Development
God does not merely expect us to possess what He gives us; He expects us to develop it, use it, and multiply its impact.
When I invest my ability into the Kingdom of God, it begins producing fruit in other people's lives… People are the soil that we sow our lives and our talents into to produce Kingdom Increase…everything God does through our lives is going to be connected to people.
Faithfulness Determines Increase… Jesus gives another major stewardship principle: “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.” Luke 16:10
“God will never ask anyone to give an account for what He gave somebody else. He only asks me what did I do with what He placed in my hands.”

  • It's Not Mine Pt.2
The great misconception we have is that we think we are being good by giving God a portion of our lives.
    1. What are you doing with Jesus did for you?
Its this amazing dynamic that our salvation is free but its not cheap!!
    2. Who’s got the time?
As long as God is doing something for me, I have time but when God needs to do something through me, I don’t have time.
I can’t make more time but I can be more intentional with my time.
how many of us justify our busy-ness as being responsible when in fact we are actually being not wise stewards of our time?
Our whole life should be laid before Jesus, not just a portion.
    Luke 2:49
And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
It takes stewarding our time in order to be useful for the master.. takes time to grow in relationship with God and people. It takes time to serve God with my life. It takes time to be an active expression of Jesus to those in need. It takes time to be about the Father and not your self.

  • What's the plan Pt.5
    To Stick Out
What do I hold on to and what am I willing to lose or let go of?
    Daniel 1:9-10
Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink..”For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king
The will of God makes you stick out!!
Gods will for your life is truly found in the sacrifice of pleasure for spiritual increase
So how do we stick out?
    Matthew 26:39
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
It’s the place of total surrender to something divine to pick you up and empower you to literally walk out what HE has appointed for you.
The will of God is fulfilled In our lives when the Holy Spirit is in charge of our decisions, desires, direction and diet.
    Ultimately making us STICK OUT!!
