Too often we fall into the mindset that Christianity is a private matter just between “Jesus and me.” However, in contrast to that mistaken notion, the reality is that the Christian life is a group effort. In this passage, we are reminded that living as citizens of heaven in a manner worthy of the Gospel requires commitment to each other in the church.
