As a community and as a nation, we are experiencing a lot of pain. We are grieving racism, experiencing anger and desperation over continually opened wounds, looking to carry the hurt with our black community, and experiencing the conviction of our sin, our past and current missteps and ignorance and passivity.

It can be difficult to know how to bring these emotions to the Lord, so we have created this guided practice through Psalm 44, a Psalm of Communal Lament, to help you pray and connect with God in whatever you’re experiencing.
