Have you wondered how to start your practice of solitude, today I give a few tips on how to begin your journey with silence and stillness. You will be reminded that as Christ is the light of the world, you are children on the light, image bearers. Come and practice a listening heart.

Ponderings:

  • Take notice of times when you long for silence this week, what were the circumstances surrounding it?
  • How do you see Solitude as an outward discipline?
  • Where can you find 3 minutes in your day, to sit still and let go of your anxiety, stress or busy schedule?
  • If you could unplug, where would you want to go? Why? How does solitude fit into this picture?
