I want to clarify that this is not toxic positivity, and if you know me you already know that I don't believe in "only thinking positive thoughts". It is absolutely important to look at the "bad", but without drowning in it. When we're used to seeking the positive in our lives, the hard times are actually easier, because our cup is full.
