Greg also talked about several projects that are likely to be soon on his needles. Pam’s Projects Pam finished a Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit. She is using Leading Men Fiber Arts Show Stealer. Pam worked on her socks. She is using the Kettle Lakes Socks pattern by Carolyn Lisle. She is using yarn from East Coast Yarn in the Charlie Brown Christmas colorway. Pam mentioned using Addi FlexiFlips and liking them. Pam pulled out her Cosy Stripes Blanket by Attic 24 and worked on it. She is using Stylecraft Special DK. Pam dug out an abandoned knitting project of her daughter’s. It is the Trillian Shawl by Martina Behm. Pam cast on a charity hat, the Classic Cuffed Hat by Purl Soho. She is using some mystery acrylic. Book Club In Episode 161 we covered the first 3 introductory chapters of our new book club book, Adventures in Yarn Farming by Barbara Parry. Miscellaneous We shared 2 articles of yarn in the news. One was about the Hallmark Channel Crochet Christmas car. The second was about the Indian Air Force Wives knitting over 41,000 hats for the underprivileged. They set a world record! Pam mentioned the Instagram clip from Jen of the Commuter Knitter podcast where her daughter said she needs to make sweaters for all 27 of her classmates.
