The dailies are in and we’re watching Some Like it Hot! Our third in the Tony Curtis run, this may be one of his most well known roles. Co-starring Jack Lemon and the inimitable Marilyn Monroe, this screwball comedy from Billy Wilder is an iconic piece of film history that Kate and Blake both deeply love. So, pour yourself a Manhattan and hit play — Brewvies is back!
Manhattan’s:
What you need
Pour 1 1/3 oz / 4 cl whiskey, 2/3 oz / 2 cl sweet red vermouth and 4 to 5 drops of angostura bitters into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir vigorously with a spoon. Strain into your previously chilled cocktail glass, garnish and enjoy.
