I'm concerned that too many pastors each Sunday are content with shallow dives into the milky parts of God's Word. The church today desperately needs more meat, and a big part of a meaty diet is Biblical prophecy - at least if we take the examples of Peter and Paul into consideration. This article is a sobering assessment of popular sermon themes, and it concludes with a challenge to reintroduce the prophetic Scriptures back into the regular diet of the church.
