Houmi Miura
Houmi Miura is a Japanese British female actor, writer and theatre-maker based in Manchester. She is currently developing her solo show, In The Beginning Woman Was The Sun, and has written sketches for CBBC’s The Amelia Gething Complex. She’s shortlisted for the Alfred Bradley Bursary Award and was part of BBC Writersroom’s Northern Voices 2020.
Houmi has performed for Royal Exchange, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Oldham Coliseum, New Earth and York Theatre Royal. She has filmed for BBC One, Amazon, Netflix, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. Houmi has provided voiceover for the Total War gaming franchise and for the VR short film To Miss The End, showcased at Sundance Film Festival.
