Welcome to our first podcast of the new year. As I explained in the newsletter on Saturday, this podcast will be published Monday through Friday and will feature up-to-date news stories that may affect your visit, stay, or life in California.

We’ll cover food, weather, news, entertainment, outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, and more), and sports throughout the week. One or two stories a day for you to listen to and enjoy.

We are kicking it off this week with some posts on the coastline to dine. I’ve added my picks to the podcast and provided a quick take on the ones I know from this article.
